Dashboard Confessional Solo Acoustic

Venue: Slim’s
Artist: Dashboard Confessional
Opening Act(s): Barcelona

Dashboard Confessional

Dashboard Confessional is Chris Carrabba’s solo project that overtime became a full band. I had seen Dashboard three of four times before. It seemed fitting for him to do an acoustic show since the audience is known for singing every word to every song. This sold out show was no exception.

There was no official set list for this tour. He took requests that were shouted out from the crowd and performed an array of songs from all albums. Most importantly he performed the ones I wanted to hear the most – “Saints & Sailors”, “Hands Down”, “As Lovers Go” and, of course, “Screaming Infidelities”.

I know some people don’t care for the whole emo thing, but if it doesn’t repulse you I highly recommend seeing Dashboard the next time he tours acoustic or full band.
