Date: August 3, 2013
City: Chicago, IL
Venue: Grant Park

PUJOL – Nashville based band

BEAST PATROL – New York based indie pop rock band. Enjoyed their set so much I went to the autograph tent to meet them.

Beast Patrol

WILD CUB – I liked this Nashville based band and had to see them a second time at the Toyota Tent.

REIGNWOLF – Amazing guitarist

CHARLES BRADLEY – This man channeled James Brown. Great sound and showmanship. Sadly I didn’t get a photograph.

ST. LUCIA – Synth-pop group I only saw because the schedule got moved around. I was hoping to see Haim. But they were pretty good.

THE DUNWELLS – Loved these guys so much I went to meet them at the FYE autograph tent.

HEARTLESS BASTARDS – American garage rock band from Cincinnati.

MUMFORD & SONS – I find some of their music catchy, but for the most part I find their songs a depressing. They did draw in a huge crowd though.

Highlights of the day were The Dunwells, Charles Bradley, Wild Cub and Beast Patrol.
